I'm Aysha, an illustrator and designer originally from London and now residing in Norfolk. I studied graphic design at University of the Arts London and now freelance from my studio with my trusty feline assistant, Olive, by my side.

I'm passionate about storytelling through both words and pictures and love creating new characters and the little worlds they live in

My debut picture book Where Has All The Cake Gone? was shortlisted for the FCBG Children's Book Award 2023, while my second, Whose Dog Is This?, was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize 2024.

When I'm not writing or drawing, you can find me knitting a jumper, whittling up a spoon or most likely eating apple crumble and custard.
